Who is Eligible?
The North Carolina Concealed Carry Class is open to U.S. Citizens
who are at least 21 years of age. In addition there
are other eligibilities that apply, for instance; you must
be a resident of North Carolina for at least 30 days. You
cannot have a mental or physical infirmity that prevents you
from safely handling a handgun. You have not been
convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment
for a term exceeding one year. You are not an unlawful
user of narcotic drugs, or any other controlled substance.
If you are former military, you must have an honorable discharge
from the armed services.

There will be range time involved in order to qualify for the
permit. Ownership of a firearm is NOT required. You
may use a firearm provided by STI, as we have a large inventory
to choose from.
